The Livermore Lab Foundation is working closely with the ALS CURE Project to support efforts at LLNL to identify the causal factors and biomarkers of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Piscotty, an LLNL employee, lost his wife Gretchen to ALS in 2018. Their inspiring story was recently shared here.
