On August 8, the Foundation recognized the top poster presenters at the Lab’s 2019 Student Poster Symposium.

More than 375 students registered for the annual two-day event – the largest yet! They represented colleges from across the country, and several high schools too. Participating Lab entities included the Computing, Engineering, Global Security, Photon Science/NIF, and Physical and Life Sciences directorates, as well as the Consortium Enabling Cybersecurity Opportunities & Research, Data Science Institute, and the Department of Energy High School Program.

Students displayed posters showcasing their scientific research and explained their projects to LLNL employee judges. At the awards ceremony, Dona Crawford presented $150 cash awards to the top 10% of poster presenters, and one awardee per LLNL entity presented his/her poster to the entire symposium.

Livermore Lab Foundation is proud to sponsor these awards for the 2nd year in a row. Congratulations to all of the Poster Symposium participants!
